SPRING TRAINING

VERMILLION, SD

The team went to Vermillion, SD, for training over spring break this year. The team left bright and early Friday to drive to Vermillion. Paul Sunde planned a great gravel ride for them to practice on.  They were able to get between 30 and 60 miles in before they either ran out of steam or the rain came in. We had a great pizza party for dinner and then went to see Power Rangers at the local movie theater.

After a breakfast of waffles and pancakes Saturday morning, it was off on more biking. This time it was on paved roads. Even with the head wind and the sun bearing down on us, the riders got in 20 to 100 miles. (Yes, 100 miles in a day).  Paul planned another great route that took us to Yankton where we rode over the Gavin's Point Dam and back to Vermillion.

Thanks to Richard Sunde, State Farm Insurance, for letting the team crash above your office.  Thanks to Scott Zollman for driving behind us in the bus so slowly that a turtle could have passed.

We love our TruMoo.  It is so refreshing after a long ride.  Monte, give it up!
