We drove to Burlington, Iowa, for the first of three days of racing.  Although Snake Alley looked intimidating, it didn't slow the racers down at all.  Over the noon break, there was a cobble climb time trial that provided entertainment.  As a team, we did well, taking home two first places.  The first place prizes - a snake and a cobblestone.  Good teamwork by all the racers and the spectators cheered everyone on.
