The second event of the Midwest Flyover series was held in Ashland, NE, the weekend of May 14 & 15, 2016.  

Nebraska Omnium Weekend

There was a playground near the crit course that kept the team occupied and entertained while they weren't racing.  Seeing how far each person could hit the whiffle ball also was fun.

The road race was challenging.  So challenging that Willow Olsen missed a turn and added quite the distance to her course.  We sent out the search parties, but she eventually got back on course on her own.  She ended up with a first place win for the weekend (OK, she was the only one in her category).  But all the kids had fun that weekend.  And there was free pizza after the road race.
